I finally got around to getting a myspace account this week, in order to read the Suicide Girls Sux group for research for this post.
Is anyone else on it? If so, can you tell me what it’s for? On the one hand it seems to be another social networking site… on the other it seems to be fairly useful for finding music and stuff but I’m not sure how exactly one would best use it for the latter. Any experiences? And yeah, I know it’s owned by NewsCorp, which is pretty lame.

i like myspace. i’m not on friendster, and i livejournal very little, but myspace can be fun. hickey says it’s a great place to meet girls. there are lots of users, many of whom just try and harvest as many friends as they can without really knowing any of them. everyone on my friendslist i know in real life, except maybe a couple cute girls. satanosphere sucks now.
My friend and I are setting up a myspace so that I can put up all the pictures from the drunken parties that we throw… mostly to piss off his ex-girlfriend… sometimes petty is good. Heh he.
