Of course you’ve heard by now that Christopher Reeves passed away. I like Josh Ellis’s eulogy :
Had Bush shut the fuck up and allowed stem cell research to be funded, Reeve might still be alive today.
The guy fought hard after he broke his neck. He lived his life as best he could. He was an advocate for others who had suffered similar injuries. As far as I’m concerned, he was a hero in real life, not just in the movies, and his death saddens me, because it was unnecessary.
Getting slighly less attention is the death of Jaques Derrida.
