Don’t have time to comment on any of this properly right now.. which is a pain since I may never get back to it… but here’s some stuff:
Die Puny Humans is running a series of predictions for 2004 by “creative types”… Charity Larrison’s is cute (NSFW). Mark Eris takes a lot of words to say that we really really need to get micropayments working (more on that later, hopefully). And Cory Doctorow has something refreshing to say about spam: “Some lament the existence of spammers. Spammers will always exist: stamping your foot and demanding their nonexistence won’t change that: adapt or die.” (I think the real problem right now is spyware/scumware/malware… more on that later too)
Salon’s Technology Year in Review, subtitled “the return of the internet” is worth a look. See also: Dotcoms making a come back.
